Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed.  The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

James 5:16(KJV)

The Cheerleader

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. ~ Philippians 4:13kjv

Dear Lord, In this verse I can hear You cheering me on.  What can I do?  All things! Who’s going to help me?  Christ! What’s He going to do?  Strengthen me!  I praise You for bringing these particular words to me right now.  Your Word is so amazing:  written thousands of years ago, yet it speaks to us perfectly in our moment of need.  What other book is like that?  What other God speaks to his people like You do?  I know I am going to need this verse today, Lord.  Help me to sing it back to You all day long.  In Jesus name…Amen!!

Teach Me How to Worship You For Real

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for seeing me through 2016.  Thank you for every mountain you brought me over and every trial that you’ve seen me through.  Lord please help me to go back to the heart of worship because it is all about you.  Lord I am sorry for the thing I’ve made it when it is all about you.  Lord your Word says that we are to worship you in spirit and in truth.  Lord please give me an undivided heart that is souled out to you alone.  Lord I don’t want worship to just be something that I do but I want it to be who I am.  Lord you have done and given me so much even when I have put other things and other people before you, have mercy on me O Lord, change me O Lord.  I’m Yours….In Jesus name… Amen!!

Thank You for the Gift

Dear Heavenly Father, thank YOU for the gift of Jesus Christ, the gift that keeps on giving.  During this holiday season, let me not forget that Jesus is the reason for this season.  It is not about the presents under the tree but about His presence in my heart.  Please help me to not get caught up in over spending but to give the best gift that I have and that is Jesus and how He died for my sins and the sins of the world.  There are so many that are struggling during the holidays, the homeless, the families of the children who died in the Chattanooga bus accident, those struggling with addictions and depression, Lord I lift them up to you in prayer asking You to comfort them as only You can.  Thank you for the privilege to pray for those in need, not just during the holidays but all year long.  Help me to share the love of Christ with those that I come in contact with every day.  I pray that they see your reflection in me because You are my Father and I want to represent you well and bring glory to your Holy name.  Thank You, thank You, thank You for EVERYTHING, I am nothing without You.  Help me to follow hard after You and to enjoy the journey.  In Jesus name…..Amen!!

Mirror, Mirror

Psalm 139:14 says I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; that my soul knoweth right well.

Father, when I look at certain people I know, all I see is how much I lack in comparison.  They seem naturally kinder, more at ease, more fashionable, more attractive, and certainly thinner.  I know, Lord, I often spend more time thinking about how other people see me than about how you see me.  You made me, sovereign Lord, in this particular way for Your purposes.  Help me trust You, and trust that this lump of clay that You are molding is precious in Your sight and in Your hands.

In Jesus name…Amen

Prayer For Just A Closer Walk With Thee

Most Gracious Heavenly Father, I come before You as humble as I know how, first thanking You for your grace and mercy.  Thanking You that You rule and You super rule.  Thanking You for not giving up on me and thanking You for loving me from everlasting to everlasting.  Lord I come confessing that I have not done everything that You have told me to do.  I have leaned unto my own understanding and I have loved people and things more than I have loved You.  Please forgive me LORD, I want to do what is right in thy sight.  For You have called me out of darkness into Your marvelous light.  And now I just pray for a closer walk with thee.  You know my beginning and my ending, You even know my thoughts afar off.  You know every misstep and every mistake that I will ever make and yet You still love me and You care about me.  Lord I don’t know what I did to deserve such love but I am so grateful.  Lord please teach me how to live in such a way that I glorify You in all that I do.  Please don’t let me be tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine but help me to stand on Your word for it never changes nor does your love towards me.  You love me not based on how good I am but because You are good and merciful and longsuffering.  Lord I don’t want to run this race in vain but I want my life to mean something.  So Lord I place my life in Your capable hands.  Lord You are my hope and because You live I can face tomorrow knowing that I am NEVER alone, Your blood covers me and Your Holy Spirit guides me.  I am the paper and you are the pen and I can’t wait to see how my story unfolds.  So I will continue to look to You the author and finisher of my faith as our love story continues.  Thank You for pursuing me and never giving up on me. I AM YOURS!

In Jesus name…Amen

He Is Willing

Matthew 8:3KJV says ~ And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean.  And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

Dear God, You love us so much that You were willing to leave Your kingly throne and come down into the muck and the sin.  For a holy God, sin is worse than leprosy.  I'm not a leper, exactly.  My face isn't mared by open sores; I'm not missing pieces of my lips and nose.  But sometimes my face is mottled by anger, and I'm missing large chunks of the love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control that are my birthright in Christ.  Again and again, You are willing to reach out and touch me and cleanse me with Your amazing love.  Thank You..In Jesus name...Amen!!

(Prayer taken from Daily Conversations with God)

Communication

Psalm 101:3 says ~ I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me.

Dear God, the Internet is a marvelous tool! Thank You for giving humankind the ability to invent it.  But the Internet also has a great potential for evil.  I ask You to protect my family from online predators, from sexual content, from sites that would have a negative influence on our relationship with You.  Help me be prudent in my use of the web.  Like any other means of communication, it can be used wrongly.  But, with Your help, it can be an instrument for good in our home.  In Jesus name…Amen!!

(Prayer taken from Daily Conversations with God)

Prayer To Let Go And Let God

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come to you in the name of Jesus, first thanking you for your grace and your mercy.  Thanking you that you are all sufficient, all powerful and all knowing.  Thanking you that you are here and there and everywhere at the same time.  Thanking you that nothing takes you by surprise, thanking you that you neither slumber nor sleep, you have not left your throne.  You are the conqueroring King and ruler of everything. You know my past, my present and my future and you still choose to love me and to be mindful of me.  Lord please forgive me for my times of doubt and the times I have walked in fear.  Lord help me to let go of things that I have no control over and help me to put it all in your very capable hands.  Lord I let go of pride and selfishness and everything else that goes against your will for my life.  I surrender all and trust that you will work everything out for my good.  Lord I humble myself before you, not my will but thy will be done in me.  Lord I am YOURS...In Jesus Name..Amen

The Inspirational Word

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:  (II Timothy 3:16)

Lord, Your Word thrills me, convicts me, comforts me, and strengthens me.  I am so thankful that You gave us the Bible.  Thank You for inspiring the prophets of old as they penned Your truth.  Thank You for protecting the scripture through centuries of skepticism and persecution.  Thank You for giving me the blessing of this treasure, for allowing me to hold it in my hand.  When I am hungry, Your word feeds me; when I am fearful, it assures me; when I am uncertain, it guides me.  Your Book is the light upon my path.  Without it, I would be lost.  In Jesus name....Amen!

(Prayer taken from Daily Conversations with God)

Time For Healing

He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds. (Psalm 147:3KJV)

Dear Lord, I find myself obsessing over certain people who upset me, like I'm picking at scabs.  I think about how they have wounded me, and those wounds become deeper and sadder.  Lord, when I do this, I am pushing Jesus out.  I am not letting Him come into these situations and offer His gifts of forgiveness and healing.

Please forgive me for relishing my wounds more than Your healing.  Help me pray for people instead of muttering against them.  I want to know You, Lord, and the power of Your resurrection, even in my small hurts.  In Jesus name... Amen

(Prayer taken from Daily Conversations with God)

The Power of Tithing

God, You have asked me to bring my tithe to You.  I honor You in my giving as I set aside a tenth of all You have blessed me with.  I am thankful for the many opportunities You have made available to me.  I am grateful for the kindness You show me and make available from every person I meet. Thank You for Your promise to open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that I cannot contain as I give a portion of what You have given me back to You.  In Jesus name..Amen!!

(Prayer taken from Power Prayer to Bless Your Heart)

In Quietness

For thus saith the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not. ~Isaiah 30:15KJV~

Lord, sometimes it feels like I never sit down.  There are always so many things to do: people to manage, dishes to wash, bills to pay, groceries to buy, toilets to clean, emails to answer.  The noise and busyness of my life seem unending.  But I know You call me to come away, just as Jesus did, and come to You in quietness and rest.  Not just because You desire it, but because that quietness and rest in Your presence is the source of my strength.  Thank You for longing to protect my heart in this crazy, merry-go-round world.  In Jesus name..Amen!!

(Prayer taken from Daily Conversations with God.)

Our Redeemer

You are my Redeemer, Lord -- You have saved me from all that separated me from You.  When I am not holy, You are.  When I am trapped in anxiety and despair, You free me.  When I see no hope of escape from my present circumstance, You rescue me.  When I feel unworthy and stained beyond all hope of saving, You cover me with grace.  When I feel like I can't take another step, You carry me.  When I feel like giving up, You sustain me.  When I am weak, You are strong and mighty to save.  When I feel like I am unloveable, You love me still.  When I feel so alone, You are that friend that sticks closer than a brother.  When I lose my way, You are my guide.  Lord thank you for paying the price for me to live with you eternally.  I give you all praise, honor and glory.  Thank you for the gift of salvation.  In Jesus name... Amen

Under Construction

Precious Lord, I come before you first giving you all praise, honor and glory for You alone are worth it.  Thank you for loving me past all of my pain and looking beyond all of my faults and still supplying my need.  Lord You are merciful and so long-suffering with me and I don't understand why You love me so but I thank You.  Lord, I am truly a work in progres and Your word says that You have begun a good work in me and You will carry it out to completion until the day of Jesus Christ.  Lord help me to be still while I am on the Potter's wheel, remove everything in me that does not glorify You. Change the way I think, the way I talk, the way I walk, the way I live, the way I give, the way I serve, the way I love, the way I forgive and the way I pray.  Lord only You can make changes in me that last.  My desire is to be profitable for Your kingdom, please don't let me run this race in vain.  Lord help me to realize who I am in You.  Let my relationship with You be the most important relationship in my life and then You will enable me to love others for real.  Lord my prayer will always be MORE OF YOU and less of me.  Lord please break every chain in my life that has me bound and help me to run the race that You have set before me.  Lord help me to keep my eyes fixed on You.  Lord give me a servant's heart and a warrior spirit.  Lord You said in Your word that Your thoughts toward me are of peace and not of evil, to give me an expected end and my expected end is to see You face to face and hear You say well done thy good and faithful servant.  So until then Lord, I am going to wait until my change comes.  Have thine on way Lord in me.

In the Mighty Name of Jesus I pray....Amen

My Creator

I want to know You more.  More of You and less of me.  Lord I praise You for You are God alone and You have all power in your hands.  There is nothing too hard for you and you specialize in impossible situations.  You are Jehovah Jireh, my provider, Jehovah shalom, my peace, Jehovah Nissi, the banner that watches over me.  You are Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, You are a rock in a weary land.  You are my bridge over troubled waters, You are that friend that sticks closer than a brother.  You are my Sun and shield, You are my advocate who pleads to the Father on my behalf.  I don’t understand why you love me so much and why you love me in this manner but I sure am grateful.  Please forgive me for all of my sins and wash me thoroughly from all mine iniquities, against thee and thee alone have I done this wickedness in thy sight.  Please create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me.  Give me a heart that loves to please You and a desire to follow after You.  Please cover my family in your blood and give them a heart to love and to serve you.  Lord I surrender all to you, withholding NOTHING.  Here I am to worship, Here I am to bow down, Here I am to say that You’re my God.  You’re all together lovely, all together worthy, all together wonderful to me.  Lord use me to spread the good news of Your Gospel to this dying world.  Lord I want to make You famous.  There is no other name  where which men can be saved.  Help me to shout it from the rooftops, to shout it in the valleys, to shout it in the prisons and on the highways and byways.  To bind up the broken hearted and to set the captives free, to preach Jesus Christ and Him crucified and is now risen and seated at the right hand of God, who intercedes for us.  Lord, help me to represent you well and to never bring shame to your name.  In Jesus name…Amen

Pray On

When the bills are due, when the pain lingers on,

or the adoption agency is taking too long.

When you're trying to balance family and work,

or your boss is annoying or simply berserk.

When a prodigal child simply will not come home,

or the debt collectors won't leave you alone.

When the car wreck leaves you with metal to mend,

or the man that you loved left you for your best friend.

When you feel overwhelmed - - - always busy and stressed --

or you can't seem to focus and your house is a mess.

When you're lonely, depressed, or stuck in your life,

and you wonder if you're a good person or wife.

When there's trauma or pain, or just day-to-day living,

or you find that you always do most of the giving.

When you're pondering daily the life you've been dealt,

with finances, job, relationships, health.

When you're searching for wisdom, or purpose, or faith,

some heart healing, joy, simplicity, space.

When there's less in your wallet and more on your thighs,

and your mind reels with questions like What? How? or Why?

When you don't understand and you can't see the way,

you need five simple words: "Lord, teach me to pray."

Don't give up, don't give in, even though strength seems gone.

Just hold on to hope and pray on, my friend, pray on.

Prayer of Thanksgiving

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for your grace and mercy and thank you that you are God and I am not.  Father you do all things well and you make no mistakes.  You know what I need and when I need it.  You are never too late but you are always right on time.  Lord thank you for eyes to see, ears to hear, legs and feet to move me from here to there, thank you for a nose to smell and a mouth to be able to taste.  Thank you for clean water to drink and clean air to breathe.  Thank you for all of the little things that I tend to take for granted on a daily basis.  Thank you that you are Jehovah Jireh, my provider, Jehovah Nissi, the banner that watches over me, LORD Jehovah, everlasting strength, Jehovah Adonai, LORD of hosts, Jehovah Elyon, The LORD most high, Jehovah Mekaddishkem, the LORD my sanctifier, Jehovah Rapha, the LORD my healer, Jehovah Roi, the LORD my shepherd, Jehovah Shalom, the LORD my peace, Jehovah Shammah, the LORD who is ever present with me, Jehovah Tsidkenu, the LORD my righteousness, El Olam, Everlasting God, El Roi, The God of sight, and you are El Shaddai, God Almighty. Lord please forgive me for every time I have ever doubted you and placed other things before you.  Lord you are my first love and I want to honor YOU in all that I do, help me to hunger and thirst after righteousness all the days of my life and keep me on the narrow path looking unto you for every step.  Lord there is no lack in you and you keep all of your promises.  Give me the will to do your will and to do it with EXCELLENCE.  In Jesus name... Amen!!

For the next month or so, we are going to be focusing on "Praying Ephesians" by Christin Ditchfield

YOU'RE A SAINT!

Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus: Grace be to you , and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 1:1-2)KJV

What does being "holy" look like in your life today?

Heavenly Father, thank You that You chose me to be Your disciple.  You have made me one of Your "saints" --setting me apart as Your very own.  I belong to You.  Teach me what it means to be separate from the world, to be holy.  Help me to be faithful and obedient to You.  I want to live a strong life, worthy of my sacred calling.  A life that brings joy to Your heart.  A life that brings glory and honor to You.  Fill me with Your grace and peace today.  In Jesus' precious name, I pray.  Amen.

Prayer To Endure Adversity

Heavenly Father, You are my strength and refuge and my saving grace.  I can face the difficulties of this day because You are with me.  You are my light and pathway.  As I follow You, Father, I can overcome adversity just as Jesus overcame this world.  You are my lively hope, You are the way, the truth and the life and you are the lifter of my head.  I thank You that you have given me power over the enemy because my life is in Christ Jesus seated at the right hand of the Father.  Help me to STAND knowing that I never stand alone but I stand in Your power and Your might.  What the enemy means for bad, you always turn it around for my good.  So please help me to endure like a good soldier looking unto You the Author and Finisher of my faith.  This is my earnest plea in Jesus name...Amen

Prayer To Be Real by Nancy Stafford

Father, help me to take off my mask.  Help me to slip my hand in Yours and yield the parts of myself I’ve protected so carefully.  Thank You that I don’t have to be anyone but who You created me to be.  Help me discover who that is.  I give you access, Holy Spirit.  Show me my true identity ----all that I am in You.  Give me the courage to change those things that keep me from being real.  Thank You that You accept me as I am and that You will never leave me.  Help me every day, Lord, to become more of the authentic, beautiful woman You created me to be.  I eagerly look forward to discovering who I really am!

In Jesus name…. Amen

Prayer of Taking Your God-Given Place ~ Roy Lessin

(My foot standeth in an even place: in the congregations will I bless the LORD.) Psalm 26:12KJV

Lord, you are my hiding place, my dwelling place, my safe place, my secret place, my holy place, and my balanced place. Continue to teach me and instruct me to know Your perfect place for me in every choice I make, in every action I take, and in every word I speak.

Raise up a barrier to hinder me if I am pursuing a place you have not chosen for me; Bring Your wisdom to me if I am not understanding something about Your ways that needs clarity; Dry up any pool I am drinking from that is not being fed by Your river; Slow me down if I am going after something that is premature in Your plan for me; Turn me from any confidence I am placing in anyone or anything that is taking my eyes off of You.

Lord, keep my heart from coveting the place you have given others, and guard my heart from envying the ways You are using others. Help me to set my expectations upon You, and not upon the way I think things should be or want them to be.

Lord, settle me and help me take my place—not to run from it, or hide from it; not to fear it, or dread it; not to strive in it, or be anxious about it. Help me daily to know the contentment and the joy of serving You in Your appointed place.  In Jesus name....Amen

New Year Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank you for allowing me to see another year.  You have been ever faithful and ever showing in my life.  As we enter into this new year, my desire is to have more of you and less of me.  Lord teach me to be content in you alone for you are the author and finisher of my faith.  Lord increase my faith and remove all doubts.  Saturate me with your presence and help me to look to you for my every need.  My desire is to be profitable for your kingdom, so I ask for holy boldness.  Give me hind's feet to walk upon my high places and surround me with your joy and peace that passes all understanding.  Lord teach me to number my days, that I may apply my heart unto wisdom.  Set a watch, O Lord, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.  Lord, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is; that I may know how frail I am.  Teach my hands to war and my heart to only fear you and not man.  In Jesus name... Amen.

Christmas Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father, First I come to you to thank you that you are God and I am not.  You know all and you see all and you know my thoughts before I even think them.  You are the lifter up of my head and you are the light that guides my path.  You are my strength and my saving grace.  I am nothing without you but through you I can do all things.  Thank you for supplying my every need and keeping the devourer away for my sake.  Help me to remember what this holiday season is about and it is not about the gifts under the tree but it is about that precious gift that lives in my heart and that is Jesus Christ, the gift that keeps on giving. Help me to make Him known not only during this holiday season but every day of my life.  It is my desire to make Jesus famous.  Thank you for providing everything that I would ever need way back on Calvary.  Because of Jesus Christ, I have hope, I have joy and I have peace.  He only gives good gifts and He adds no sorrow with them.  So Lord I just want to say thank you for loving me so much, I know that I am not worthy but I am so very grateful.  In Jesus name....Amen!

Prayer For Release

Dear Heavenly Father, I release to you the burdens that I have been carrying, burdens that you never intended for me to carry.  I cast all my cares upon you, all my worries, all my anxieties and all my fears.  You have told me not to be anxious about anything, but rather to bring everything to you in prayer with thankfulness.  Father, calm my restless spirit, quiet my anxious heart, still my troubling thoughts with the assurance that you are in control.  I let go of my grip upon the things I have been hanging onto, with opened hands I come to you.  I release to your will all that I am trying to manipulate; I release to your authority all that I am trying to control; I release to your timing all that I have been striving  to make happen.  I thank you for your promise to sustain me, preserve me, and guard all that I have entrusted to your keeping.  Protect my heart and mind with your peace, the peace that passes all understanding.  Father, may your will be done in my life, in your time and in your way.  In Jesus name.. Amen!!

Prayer of Brokenness

Father, have mercy upon me, O God, according to your unfailing love.  According to your great compassion, cleanse me from all my sin. (Psalm 51:1-2) When all that is within me feels parched and broken, frail and weak, remind me of your unfailing love and your covenant of peace that you promise to not remove from my life.  (Isaiah 54:10) When I am confused and afraid, teach me to lean into you, to depend soley upon you, and to trust completely in you Lord with all of my heart and to resist the temptation to rely upon my own understanding of the situation.  (Proverbs 3:5) When my hurt overwhelms me and my sorrow aches within me, gently remind me that your healing work within me is most effective when I'm choosing to trust you.  When I'm bound by discouragement and the pieces of my broken heart surrounding me are all that I can see, might I call to mind your faithfulness that you were sent to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty for the captives, and to open the prison doors to those who are bound! (Isaiah 61:1) Though the wright of my disappointment is real and my pain is near tangible, your presence is more real, and upon you I draw my strength.  Because your mercies toward me are new each and every morning, I am not consumed.  (Lamentations 3:22-23)  Because your love is better than life, my lips will praise you.  (Psalm 63:3) Because you, O Lord, are my rock and my fortress, I will wait upon you, and I will not be shaken.  (Psalm 62:1-2) Because you have promised to complete the good work you have started in me (Philippians 1:6), I will trust you in my brokenness that you will use even this for my good and that you will glorify yourself through my life.  (Romans 8:28) Help me to believe that not one ounce of pain, not one hour of brokenness, not one season of discouragement is wasted when I choose to unite myself with you and your purposes.  You alone are able to create wholeness out of my brokenness, to make beauty from ashes.  May I not withhold a single fiber of my being from your healing embrace.  Althought it is impossible for me to piece back together what has been shattered and torn, there is not one thing that is impossible for you.  (Matthew 19:26) So as I continue in this brokenness for however long you see fit, meet me with your spoken Word, and sing over me, "My grace is sufficient for you." (2 Corinthians 12:9).  In Jesus name... Amen

Prayer of Praise

Father, thank you for loving me and for choosing me and adopting me into your family.  Thank you that you continue to look beyond all of my faults and supply my needs.  Thank you that if I confess my sins that you are faithful and just to forgive me and cleanse me from all unrighteousness.  Thank you that nothing can separate me from your love.  Thank you for keeping me on the potter's wheel and removing everything in me that is not like you.  Thank you that you sent your Holy Spirit to lead and guide me and comfort me.  Thank you that You will never leave me nor forsake me.  Thank you that you have begun a good work in me and that you will not stop until it is completed.  Thank you for continually changing me in to the image of your Son and that you have blessed me with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places.  Thank you that I am fearfully and wonderfully made, marvelous are thy works and that my soul knows right well.  Thank you that you are merciful and longsuffering that all should come to repentance.  Thank you that you are my covering and that your blood flows from the highest mountain to the lowest valley and it NEVER loses its power.  Help me to always have a heart full of gratitude and to always meditate on your goodness.  In Jesus name....Amen

Letting Go Of The Past

Father, I realize my helplessness in saving myself, and I glory in what Christ Jesus has done for me.  I let go - put aside all past sources of my confidence - counting them worth less than nothing, in order that I may experience Christ and become one with Him.

Lord, I have received Your Son, and He has given me the authority (power, privilege, and right) to become Your child.

I unfold my past and put into proper perspective those things that are behind.  I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.  The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself for me.  I trust in You, Lord, with all my heart and lean not on my own understanding.  In all my ways I acknowledge You, and You will make my paths straight.

I want to know Christ and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in His sufferings, becoming like Him in His death, and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead.  So, whatever it takes, I will be one who lives in the fresh newness of life of those who are alive from the dead.

I don't mean to say that I am perfect.  I haven't learned all I should even yet, but I keep working toward that day when I will finally be all that Christ saved me for and wants me to be.

I am bringing all my energies to bear on this one thing: regardless of my past I look forward to what lies ahead.  I strain to reach the end of the race and receive the prize for which You are calling me up to heaven because of what Christ Jesus did for me.  In Jesus name I pray, amen.

(Prayer taken from "Prayers That Avail Much For Women" by Germaine Griffin Copeland)

Saturate Me LORD!!!

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come to you in the name of Jesus, first, I come thanking you for being God, the Holy One, High and lifted up and then asking you to clean me from all unrighteousness, from the top of my head to the soles of my feet.  Purge me of everything in me that does not glorify you.  Reach those hidden places that even I don't know about.  Lord your word says that you will not dwell in an unclean place so wash me thoroughly from mine inquity and cleanse me from my sin.  For I acknowledge my trangressions: and my sin is ever before me.  Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight.  Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.  LORD I desire more of YOU.  Your word says that those who hunger and thirst after righteousness shall be filled.  Lord put a desire in me to chase after you with all of my heart, soul and spirit.  Help me to walk in the spirit that I don't fulfill the lust of my flesh.  LORD help me to see your FACE and not your Hand all of the time.  Lord I have put my faith and trust in alot of people and things and they have all let me down but LORD you have NEVER let me down and I THANK YOU!!!  LORD you promised in your word that YOU would supply all of my need according to your riches in glory by Christ Jesus and since I KNOW that YOU are not a man that YOU should lie, I can STAND on YOUR PROMISES.  LORD, break every chain that has me bound so that I can SERVE and PRAISE YOU with a clean heart and clean hands.  So LORD, SATURATE me with your presence O GOD.  Cover me in your blood, anoint me with your oil and order my steps according to your will and according to your way.  LORD I want to SHINE for YOU and encourage YOUR people to chase after you with all of their hearts.  So saturate me LORD, purify me and make me fit for your use, hide me close to thee in your tabernacle and I WILL give you all of the PRAISE, HONOUR AND THE GLORY....In Jesus name...Amen
